Garmin Fenix 8 vs Apple Watch Ultra 2 for Hybrid Training
I am currently stuck between the Garmin Fenix 8 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for my hybrid training routine. I live in Vancouver and do a lot of trail running on the weekends but I also spend four days a week in the gym doing heavy compound lifts.
The battery life on the Garmin is a huge draw for me because I hate charging my tech every single day. However the smart features on the Apple Watch are so much better for my daily life. I want to know if the Garmin strength training features have improved enough to justify the switch.
Does anyone here use the Fenix for weightlifting sessions? I have heard the auto set detection can be hit or miss. On the other hand the Apple Watch Ultra 2 has that amazing screen and works perfectly with my iPhone. I would love to hear from anyone who has used both for a mix of endurance and strength work.
