I am trying to decide between the Eleiko weightlifting belt and the SBD powerlifting belt for my training in Vancouver. I do a mix of Olympic lifting and powerlifting so I am not sure if a four inch wide belt will be too bulky for cleans and snatches.

The Eleiko belt has that tapered design which seems much better for mobility but the SBD belt is obviously the gold standard for squats. I have noticed that a lot of weightlifters prefer the leather to be a bit thinner so it does not dig into the hips during the pull.

Has anyone used both for a hybrid training style? I do not want to buy two separate belts if I can avoid it. I am looking for a single piece of gear that can handle a three hundred pound clean and a four hundred pound squat without issues.
