Do I Need Digestive Enzymes with My Protein Powder
Every time I have a double scoop of whey protein I end up feeling incredibly bloated and gassy. I am not lactose intolerant as far as I know because I can eat cheese and yogurt without any issues. I am wondering if I should start taking digestive enzymes.
I have seen some protein powders like Ghost or Dymatize that already include protease and lactase in the blend. Do those actually help with absorption or is it just marketing fluff? I am trying to build muscle in Houston and I need to eat a lot of calories so I cannot afford to feel bloated all day.
If you take a separate enzyme supplement which brand do you recommend? I want something that will help me process the protein more efficiently so I can get back to my training without the stomach discomfort.
