Creatine and Beta Alanine Stack vs Pre Workout Blends
I have been thinking about moving away from expensive pre workout tubs and just making my own. I am comparing a basic creatine and beta alanine stack vs pre workout blends that you buy at the supplement shop. I am based in London and the prices for some of these imports like Ghost or C4 have become ridiculous lately.
I like the idea of knowing exactly how many milligrams of each ingredient I am getting. Most pre workouts have proprietary blends which I do not like. I am planning to buy raw powders and mix them with some squash or juice before I head to the gym.
Has anyone else made the switch to a DIY stack? I am curious if you find it just as effective as the branded stuff. I am also wondering if I should add some Citrulline Malate to the mix for the pump. Any advice on the best ratios would be greatly appreciated!
