I am comparing the Vulcan Alpha versus the Rogue Echo bumper plates for my home gym in Vancouver. I want a set of bumpers that can handle being dropped on a platform but are not as loud as standard iron plates.
The Vulcan Alphas are supposed to be much quieter and have less bounce which is great for a garage gym. The Rogue Echos are the classic choice and are a bit cheaper but I have heard they can be quite loud. I am trying to keep the noise down for my neighbours.
Has anyone used both of these and can give a real world comparison of the noise and the durability? I want to buy a set that will last me for years without the centers popping out. Let me know which one you would choose for a quiet home setup!
