Common Magnesium Deficiency Symptoms in Strength Athletes
I am starting to suspect that I might be deficient in magnesium despite having a decent diet. I am looking for a list of common magnesium deficiency symptoms in strength athletes. I have been dealing with muscle twitches, poor sleep, and a bit of heart palpitations after my heavy deadlift sessions.
I am in the US and I train very intensely which I know can deplete mineral levels. I want to know if these symptoms are a clear sign that I need to start supplementing or if it could be something else. I am also curious about the best blood test to check for magnesium levels.
