The whole bulking and cutting cycle is starting to wear on me. I hate how I feel when I am cutting because I have no energy, and I hate how I look when I am bulking because I lose my definition. I am starting to think that body neutrality might be a better approach for my mental well being.

Body neutrality to me means accepting that my body is a tool for lifting heavy things, regardless of how it looks in a specific phase. It is about moving away from the constant obsession with body fat percentage. I want to just eat to perform and see where my body naturally settles.

Have any of you ditched the traditional bulk and cut cycles in favour of a more neutral approach? I am worried that I will not make progress as quickly, but I think I will be much happier. I would love to hear some perspectives from long term lifters on this.
