Bulgarian Method for Squats Is It Sustainable
I am intrigued by the Bulgarian Method where you squat to a daily max every single day. It sounds insane but I have seen some people get incredible results from it in a short period of time. I am wondering if it is actually sustainable for a drug free lifter.
I have been training for three years and my squat is decent but I want to take it to the next level. I am worried about burning out my nervous system or ending up with a serious injury. Is the trick just to manage the intensity of the daily max and not go for an absolute grinder every day?
Has anyone here tried the Bulgarian Method for more than a month? How did your body hold up and did you see a massive jump in your squat numbers? I am considering trying it for a 30 day challenge but I want to make sure I am not setting myself up for disaster.
