Best Weightlifting Shoes for Squats Adidas vs Nike vs Reebok
I am looking to buy my first pair of dedicated lifting shoes and I am stuck in the classic debate of adidas vs nike vs reebok. I have been squatting in flat shoes like Chuck Taylors but I feel like I could benefit from a raised heel to improve my depth and upright posture.
The Adidas Adipowers and Nike Romaleos seem to be the most popular but they are quite pricey. I have also seen the Reebok Lifter PR which is much more affordable but I am not sure if the quality is significantly lower. I want a shoe that feels stable and does not have any compression in the sole.
What are the best weightlifting shoes for 2026 for someone on a budget? I am training in a home gym in Ohio and I mostly focus on the big three lifts. If you have tried any of these brands please let me know which one has the best fit for wider feet.
