I have been vegan for a year now and my energy levels have started to dip during my heavy lifting sessions. My doctor suggested I look for a high quality multivitamin that is specifically designed for athletes and includes enough B12 and Iron.
I am finding it hard to find a vegan brand that does not have a bunch of unnecessary fillers. I am living in Vancouver and I have checked out a few health food stores but everything seems so expensive. I need something that will help me maintain my performance in the gym.
Do any of you have a favorite plant based multi? I am also wondering if I should take a separate iron supplement or if a good multivitamin is enough. I am really trying to optimize my health without compromising my ethics.
