I am trying to move away from fast fashion and build a more sustainable wardrobe this year. I am looking for brands that are transparent about their manufacturing processes and use eco-friendly materials. It is hard to know who to trust with all the greenwashing out there.

I have been looking at Patagonia and Everlane, but I am also interested in smaller brands in the UK and North America that are doing cool things with recycled fabrics. I want clothes that are high quality and will last for years, rather than things that fall apart after a few washes.

Does anyone have favorite sustainable brands that are actually affordable? I know that ethical labor and materials cost more, but I cannot spend 100 dollars on a single t-shirt. I am also looking for good places to buy second-hand or vintage clothes online.

I would love to hear your tips for building a more conscious closet. How do you decide what is worth the investment?
