Best Recovery Supplements for Over 40 Lifters in the UK
I am forty three now and I have definitely noticed that I cannot recover like I used to in my twenties. I am looking for the best recovery supplements for over 40 lifters available here in the UK. I am still training four days a week but the joint aches and fatigue are becoming a real issue.
I am already taking a good multivitamin and fish oil. I am wondering if I should be looking into things like Collagen or maybe higher doses of Vitamin D during the winter months. I want to keep my intensity high without ending up injured or completely burnt out.
What do you older guys use to keep the wheels from falling off? I am especially interested in anything that helps with tendon health and getting into a deeper sleep. I would appreciate any advice from fellow masters athletes who are still grinding away!
