Best Recovery Supplements for Marathon Training in Canada
I am deep into my training for the Vancouver Marathon and the mileage is really starting to take a toll on my body. I am looking for the best recovery supplements for marathon training available in Canada. I am dealing with constant muscle soreness and some joint inflammation in my knees.
I am already taking a lot of electrolytes and some protein. I am wondering if I should add things like Glucosamine, Chondroitin, or maybe some Curcumin for the inflammation. I want to make sure I am doing everything possible to stay injury free until race day.
What do you distance runners use to keep your legs fresh? I am also interested in anything that helps with sleep quality after those long Sunday runs. I would appreciate any advice from experienced marathoners on how to manage the high volume of training!
