I personally prefer a wall-mounted unit for stability, especially for things like muscle-ups or more dynamic movements. Doorway bars always feel a bit limiting and wobbly for anything beyond basic pull-ups.

@BudgetLifter, for doorway, the Gorilla Gym is pricier but way more robust than a standard Iron Gym knock-off. It distributes weight better across the frame. If you absolutely can't wall-mount, it's worth the extra cash for safety.

@WorkoutMom, you can find wall-mounted bars that don't project too far, maybe 18-24 inches from the wall. Rogue P-3 is fairly compact. Also, consider where you mount it – a less trafficked hallway or a garage wall might be better than a main living area.
