Best Pre Workout for Fasted Cardio and Endurance Training
I am training for my first marathon and I do a lot of my runs early in the morning in a fasted state here in the UK. I am looking for the best pre workout for fasted cardio and endurance training. I want something that gives me sustained energy without causing any stomach issues on my long runs.
I am not looking for a massive stimulant hit as that usually makes my heart rate spike too much during cardio. I am more interested in ingredients like BCAAs, electrolytes, and maybe some low dose caffeine. I want to keep my muscle mass while I am doing all this high volume running.
What do you all use for your cardio sessions? I have heard that some people swear by fasted training but I find I need a little something to get me moving at 6am. If you have a favorite endurance focused supplement please share it!
