Best Muscle Recovery Stack for Marathon Runners UK
I am training for the London Marathon and my legs are absolutely shredded after my long runs on the weekends. I am looking for the best muscle recovery stack for marathon runners in the UK. I am not looking for bulk, just something that helps my muscles and joints recover so I can hit my mileage goals.
I have been using Tart Cherry Juice and some Magnesium before bed. I am wondering if I should add some Collagen for my tendons or maybe some Curcumin for the inflammation. I find that my recovery is the biggest thing holding me back from improving my pace right now.
Do any other distance runners here use specific supplement stacks? I am curious if you find that protein timing matters as much for endurance as it does for lifting. I would love to hear your suggestions for staying fresh during a high volume running block!
