Best Lifting Chalk for Grip and Callus Prevention
I am looking for the best lifting chalk that provides a solid grip without drying out my hands too much. I live in a very dry climate in Arizona and I find that regular block chalk makes my skin crack and leads to nasty calluses that eventually rip.
I have tried some of the chalk with added essential oils but it felt a bit greasy. I need something that is pure but perhaps a bit more fine. I have seen the Primo Chalk which claims to have skin conditioners in it. Does that actually help or is it just marketing?
What are you all using to keep your hands in good shape? I want to avoid those painful tears that keep me away from the bar for a week. If you have a favorite brand of block chalk or a specific hand care routine for lifters please share it.
