Best Intra Workout Stack for High Volume Training
I have been doing some very long sessions lately, sometimes up to two hours. I am looking for the best intra workout stack for high volume training to keep my energy levels up. I am in Canada and I often feel like I am crashing about halfway through my workout.
I am thinking about a mix of Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin for carbs and some Essential Amino Acids for muscle protection. I have heard that having some salt or electrolytes in the bottle is also a game changer for the pump and hydration. I do not want something that is going to make me feel bloated while I am squatting.
What do you all sip on during your workouts? I am curious if you find that intra workout carbs actually help with your performance or if it is just extra calories. I would love to hear your favorite flavors and brands that mix well without clumping!
