Best Indoor Plants for Low Light Basements and Offices
I have a home office in my basement and it is pretty dark even during the day. I want to add some greenery to make it feel less like a dungeon, but I have already killed a couple of plants that supposedly liked low light. I am looking for the toughest indoor plants that can survive in minimal light.
I have heard that Snake Plants and ZZ Plants are almost impossible to kill. Are there any other options that might add a bit more variety? I would love something with larger leaves or maybe even something that trails down from a shelf.
How often should I be watering these low-light plants? I think I might have overwatered my last one, which I have heard is a common mistake. I also want to know if those cheap LED grow lights actually work for keeping plants healthy in a basement.
If you have successfully turned a dark room into a green oasis, please share your tips. I really want to make this work this time without another plant funeral.
