Best Electrolyte and Energy Drinks for Hydration During Training
I find that I lose a lot of fluid during my heavy lifting sessions here in the UK and I am looking for the best electrolyte and energy drinks to keep me hydrated. I want something that I can sip on during my workout that also gives me a little bit of a boost without being a full on pre workout.
I have tried Gatorade and Powerade but they have a lot of sugar which I am trying to avoid. I am looking for something that has a good balance of sodium, potassium, and magnesium. I have seen some products like Liquid IV or the electrolyte mixes from brands like Applied Nutrition.
What do you guys use to stay hydrated during training? I am specifically interested in drinks that do not have artificial colors or flavors. I want to maintain my performance levels through the entire hour and a half session. Any recommendations for a clean intra workout hydration drink?
