Hi everyone! I am just starting out with my strength training journey in Manchester and I am looking for the best budget weightlifting shoes. I really want to get something under 100 pounds as I am still a student and cannot justify the high end brands yet.
I have seen the Do-Win Classic lifters and some of the cheaper Reebok models on sale. I mainly need them for squats because I have trouble staying upright. My coach told me that even a cheap lifter is better than a squishy running shoe.
Are there any hidden gems that I should be looking for? I do not mind if they are not the most stylish as long as they provide a solid base. If you have any recommendations for a beginner who wants to save some money please share them with me!
