Best Body Positive Fitness Apps for Mindful Movement
I am looking for some new fitness apps that do not focus on weight loss or calorie burning. I want something that encourages mindful movement and celebrates different body types. I have tried a few mainstream apps but the constant talk about shredding fat is really triggering for me.
I have heard good things about Joyn and The Underbelly. Does anyone here use them? I want to move my body because it feels good, not because I am trying to shrink it. I am trying to find a community that values health at every size.
If you have any recommendations for trainers or apps that have a body positive focus, please share them. I am especially interested in strength training programs that do not emphasize aesthetics. I want to get strong for the sake of being strong.
